The state-of-the-art and comfortable cable cars, known as shuttles, are exclusively fast detachable chairlifts. The only exception is the new Panorama Link connecting lift to Wagrain-Flachau, a spacious 10-seater cable car with ventilation. In addition, Shuttleberg offers excellent ski and snowboard schools with experienced instructors and fun outdoor events every week for the whole family. The Family Run is ideal for kids and families who want to discover the shuttle mountain in a playful way. This easy-to-ride route leads on blue slopes and wide paths past 19 stations where larger-than-life Crazy Dolls are waiting for you. Children who have visited all the stations receive a fun sticker picture book and stickers as a gift at the ticket counters.
The Family Run is 19 kilometres long and takes you along both sides of the mountain.
Ride the Family Run and get your reward
Pick up a participation card (punched cardboard) at one of the ticket offices in Flachauwinkl or Kleinarl. All the stations are listed on it. At each station you will find a pair of pliers with which you can punch your cardboard at the right place. When you have punched all the stations, you can exchange your participation card for your reward at a cash desk.
Sun House
Ideal for a ski break
Here you can regain your strength in the warmth, fortify yourself with snacks and hot tea that you have brought with you, but also romp around, play together or watch funny cartoons. While our little guests are busy, the grown-ups can relax without any problems.
For little wild ones
The Fun Run above the Sun House is a short run, separated from the piste, especially for children and beginners. In addition to many colourful, padded crazy dolls, an easy-to-ride wave track awaits you here. The weekly Kids Day takes place every Tuesday at 1 pm on the Fun Run.
Fun events
There's always something happening on the Shuttleberg! Every week you can join in the Kids Day, the Shuttle Games or the Speed Race. For kids we have some wild parties with the Crazy Dolls and life-size Easter bunnies.
We invite all adults to the Mega Ski & Snowboard Test or the SAAC Camp. For freestylers we recommend the contests in the Absolut Park. These competitions are also exciting to watch.
Over the last 20 years, the Absolut Park has not only become the largest snow park in Austria, but also one of the most famous snow parks in the world. The entire park area stretches over 1.5 km, is divided into seven sections and equipped with around 100 different and varied obstacles. These are supervised daily by a professional shape crew to ensure perfect conditions. No matter what level, whether beginner or pro: in the Absolut Park you will find everything your freestyle heart desires.
