"Arduous, tremendous and breathtakingly beautiful" is how it is described by connoisseurs of the trail running scene. The Torlauf is now known as a top-organized, family event against the fantastic backdrop of the Dachstein massif.
There is a choice of: the marathon (42 km), which is technically challenging and leads up to 2,500 meters in altitude, the half marathon (24 km), where there are about 500 meters in altitude to overcome. For those who are new to the "running game" or for whom the half marathon distance is too big, there is a new option this year: complete a "relaxed" 10km loop through Ramsau and enjoy the magnificent mountain scenery while climbing 100 meters in altitude.
The fastest three runners in each class (marathon, half marathon and 10km race) will win prize money of € 300,00, € 150,00 and € 50,00. There will also be many material prizes, cups and a raffle.
