1st station, local history museum
Ancient healing knowledge
Against the backdrop of the Altenmarkt local history museum, you can go on an exciting journey through the history of well-being from back then. Curator Franz Walchhofer tells you how "medicine" used to be practiced in the past with herbs and tinctures to relieve symptoms but also as a preventive measure. In these times, Schott soup or Muas, for example, were served for “physical” well-being. Samples of this past culinary art await you in front of the museum at a stand where the local farmers prepare the dishes with products from the region.

2nd station, Market Square
Blossom.Market
Signs show you where the path leads to the present. On the market square in Altenmarkt. A special market invites you here, which offers products at its stands that contribute to your well-being: beekeeping products, herbs, teas, ointments, oils, flowers, plants, decorations made from natural materials. The culinary offer with products from the region also reconciles well-being with enjoyment. Beautiful and unusual eye-catchers at the market: life-size dolls adorned with floral dresses and street musicians who exude a good mood. For the rest, the colors black and white and bright splashes of color dominate in the decoration.

3rd Station, Dechantshoftenne

Signposts also lead you to the Dechantshoftenne, the place dedicated to the future on the journey through time. Here you can experience first-hand what well-being will feel like in the future. How the next generation will implement sustainability, regionality, environmental awareness and social cooperation tomorrow. A PopUp.Restaurant by Vitus Winkler awaits you with culinary delights, which will surprise you with healthy, innovative dishes and extravagantly tasty drinks.
