Local, seasonal, sustainable and high-quality: Ski amadé has written all this on its culinary banner. The focus is clearly on local products from local producers.
Whether it's a rustic hut or a modern mountain restaurant, farmhouse bread still warm from the oven with alpine butter or a fine curd strudel with a fluffy filling: at the various culinary stations, every stop becomes a unique experience. Warm hospitality and a distinguished service concept are at the top of the menu.
Ski & Wine Enjoyment
For many years the most tasteful highlight of the winter season: the Ski and Wine Enjoyment Week from the 9th to the 16th of March, 2024.
Every year, 26 hotels put together special culinary packages and the ski resorts in the five regions invite you to a culinary summit meeting around the theme of "skiing and Austrian wine enjoyment".

Whether cheese, schnapps, jams or tea: directly at the ski huts, local farmers and producers offer their delicacies from their own production for tasting and buying – just like at a classic farmers' market, only high up in the mountains.

The cuisine of Ski amadé
Local and regional
Regional products taste better and are more sustainable than imported foods that were transported across long distances. Based on this philosophy, Ski amadé makes use of its natural circumstances. Where skiers whoosh down the slopes in winter, cows graze on wild herbs and grass in summer. Cheese is made from the fresh and nutritious milk and is later on used in traditional dishes at the huts. A culinary cycle that works perfectly. Especially because people appreciate seasonal and traditional foods from the region.
Local and regional: a promising combination, which is lived year-round in Ski amadé.
TASTE Ski amadé – following this motto, get the taste for Austria’s largest skiing organisation in Salzburg and Styria! Look forward to various delicious programmes, initiatives and events, with selected business partners and tours. Gault&Millau & Falstaff
Exquisite enjoyment in Ski amadé
In Austria’s largest skiing association, gourmets and fans of Haute Cuisine come together. This is due to the fact that in the five regions of Ski amadé there are also Gault&Millau and Falstaff certified restaurants, as well as the numerous traditional mountain restaurants and ski huts.
