Small, cozy, and brand new: okema is the perfect place to meet right at the base of Planai. Whether you're warming up before hitting the slopes or winding down after a great day in the snow – we’ve got top-quality coffee, freshly baked goods from Steffl Bäck, and a warm smile waiting for you.

Kick off your ski day with a rich espresso or treat yourself to a sweet break after your run. Our café may be small, but it's full of flavor – ideal for a quick pause with real taste.

Mit guter Stimmung und Produkten aus der eigenen Landwirtschaft lockt der Zirbenwirt ins Tal. Aber Achtung, wer gewagt hat eine der erst beschriebenen Leckerei auszulassen, bekommt keinen Burger vom eigenen Angus oder Kalliste Rind! Kleiner Scherz, natürlich steht dieses Highlight allen zu. 

The Naturfreunde-Schutzhaus Kaiblingalm lies at 1778 metres above sea level, in the midst of a nature jewel. The stone pine trees, the mountain pines, the small, hidden away lakes, and the bowls give our "Alm" its unique character. Here, in the Kaiblingalm area, you can simply sit back and unwind.

In winter, we try to pass on to our guests some of this piece and quiet by not turning on loud music in our dining rooms and on the terrace. Naturally we would like our visitors to enjoy good food and drink, that we prepare for you with care. Traditional, hearty local dishes will be a pleasurable culinary experience. To prepare the dishes, we use mainly local produce which we get directly at the producers. As to coffee and tea, we purchase the free-trade alternative.

Overnight stay at the Kaiblingalm

Do you remember how dark a night can be, how a sky full of stars looks like? Far away from disturbing advertising lights, you can experience this particular view from here. Away form the busy world, there is not much noise in our valley basin.

On three downhills in the skiarea Zauchensee-Flachauwinkl you can become a ski-superstar: Full speed ahed on the skimovie parallel-slalom and on the skimovie funslope mixed race on Gamskogel and shred down the slope at skimobie giant slalom at Kogelalm! On the artificial skating rink in the St. Johann town centre (next to the Hahnbaum winter lifts). You can hire ice skates.

Good eating and drinking keeps body and soul together - we rely on international and regional specialties.
