...have their outstanding charme in it's special location. The Herzwies is located directly at the ski slope in 100 metres above the ski centre "Angertal" – the starting point of two  cable cars and one chair lift.

During the skiing and wine tasting week from March 14 to 21, 2026, we offer our guests at the Herzwies some special highlights. 

On the artificial skating rink in the St. Johann town centre (next to the Hahnbaum winter lifts). You can hire ice skates.

Bürgerberg-Alm: length approx. 4 kms, toboggan-hire at the Alm
Mandlberg: length approx. 1.5 kms

ON THE ZIPFELBOB – GET SET – GO!

Fun & action on Kali's adventure slopes
At the Drachenlift there is a lively Zipfelbobbahn for fun races.

Take the Zipfelbob with you or rent it on site – ascent with a valid ski pass and the fun begins.

Here you can try out the best bikes, test the latest e-MTBs and experience the ultimate ride on the best trails. Test the bikes in full action and only decide when you know which bike really suits you. Ride the way you want - not the way you have to. Your bike adventure awaits - it couldn't be easier!

In winter, when the cold mountain air of the Schladminger Tauern whips across your face outside, the smell of homemade Kaiserschmarren wafting over from the Schafalm lures you inside the cozy hut. The friendly staff there do their part to guarantee a perfect break before your next run down the Planai. In the winter months, the Schafalm is also home to a number of woolly four-legged creatures, "Valais blacknose sheep" who spend the winter in the adjacent barn (which you are also invited to peek inside), before returning to the lush green alpine meadows of the Planai in summer. An absolute highlight at the Schafalm, especially for younger guests.
