Whether summer or winter – the mountains of the world are Gernot`s home. As your guide in Gastein, he will explore the local mountain ranges with a series of exciting outdoor activities at any time of the year.

With more than 20 years of experience as ski instructor and alpine guide in Gastein, Gernot will accompany you to the highest peaks in Europe and assists you in technic and security issues.

With e-bikes into the mountains: With e-bikes, lonely remote peaks can be easily made as a day tour or various fixed rope routes can be reached.

On three downhills in the skiarea Zauchensee-Flachauwinkl you can become a ski-superstar: Full speed ahed on the skimovie parallel-slalom and on the skimovie funslope mixed race on Gamskogel and shred down the slope at skimobie giant slalom at Kogelalm! The mountain station of the 8-seater Rosskopfbahn cable car at 1,930 metres is a popular meeting point in the ski area and an ideal vantage point with great photo opportunities. Our mascot ‘Zauchi’ is looking forward to a photo with you. You can immortalise yourselves with a ‘love lock’ at the ‘love heart’. The Rosskopf is one of the three Zauchensee peaks of the challenging ‘12 Peaks Trophy’.

The Grossarler Panoramastube is located at 1.800 m above sea level in the middle of the Grossarltal-Dorfgastein ski area, right at the mountain station of the 6-seater Harbach chairlift. In addition to the 39 comfortable rooms, the Panoramastube also has a lot to offer in terms of culinary delights. From the rich breakfast buffet to great dishes made primarily from local products.

With the elevator "World Cup Express", which is located directly next to the top station of the Schwarzwandbahn, you go up to the Gamskogel. Here is not only the start of the spectacular World Cup slope, but also a fabulously beautiful vantage point. The highest excursion point in the "Salzburger Sportwelt", which can be reached by lift, is thanks to the World Cup final in 2002, when the downhill course was extended to include the steep starting slope on the Gamskogel. The World Cup Express is usually open in fair weather during the main season (except during race preparation and World Cup races).

What could be nicer than stopping in a rustic hut after a great day of skiing or a ski tour and being pampered there? The Tiergarten Alm is at 1540 meters and there is not only the most delicious Kaiserschmarren and enjoyment with our specialties, but also the most wonderful panorama and the most magnificent view!

Der Golf- & Landclub Ennstal Weissenbach – gegründet 1977 - ist der 3. älteste Golfclub der Steiermark und erst der 20. in Österreich. Die „Naturerlebnis“ 18 Loch Golfanlage ist die einzige Golfanlage in Europa, die sich in einem Europanaturschutzgebiet „Natura 2000“ befindet! 2014 wurden 5 Bahnen attraktiv und neu umgestaltetet.
