The Restaurant “Zum Holzwurm” was opened in 1988 by Brunhilde and Willi Gappmaier and is a culinary fixture in the region around Flachau. In summer our cosy terrace entices guests to dine, celebrate and enjoy each other’s company. There’s a great children’s playground in front of our restaurant in Flachau. In winter skiers pop in for breakfast – as the restaurant is situated right on the slopes of the Snow Space Salzburg in Ski amadé.

Who seduced whom here? Eve the Adam or the breathtaking panorama the pleasure woodpecker? Let's be honest. History should actually be rewritten. The legendary Liftgasthof with the "Zauchstub'n" is always worth a visit! Centrally located in Zauchensee, opposite "Zauchis Kinderland" and at the foot of the Untersberg located!

The highlight at the end of a ski tour on the Hochwurzen. At the small Hochwurzen summit, you can enjoy your summit victory in peace, including the view of the Dachstein, the Enns Valley and the Schladminger Tauern. The perfect photo spot for all summit strikers. For refreshments afterwards, the small Hochwurzen hut is also close by.
