The ownes of the Wastlalm are always endeavour to serve their guests seasonal freshly cooked dishes.
They are popular for their various and broad selection of dumplings, "Bauernkrapfen" and the well-known Kaiserschmarrn.

In winter, when the cold mountain air of the Schladminger Tauern whips across your face outside, the smell of homemade Kaiserschmarren wafting over from the Schafalm lures you inside the cozy hut. The friendly staff there do their part to guarantee a perfect break before your next run down the Planai. In the winter months, the Schafalm is also home to a number of woolly four-legged creatures, "Valais blacknose sheep" who spend the winter in the adjacent barn (which you are also invited to peek inside), before returning to the lush green alpine meadows of the Planai in summer. An absolute highlight at the Schafalm, especially for younger guests.

The name of the region is written in capital letters on a wooden structure on the Stubnerkogel in Bad Gastein. The approximately 3-metre-high lettering not only serves as an eye-catcher and photo opportunity, but also as a place to sit on the mountain. In addition to the magnificent view, you can also capture your mountain experience without taking a selfie.

The Reitlehenalm is located in a wonderful secluded location at 1,280 m directly on the ski slope in the ski area monte popolo in Eben in Salzburgerland. Enjoy our regional cuisine, best drinks and the incomparable view into the valley - the sun terrace of the Reitlehenalm and our Panorama Lounge offer the perfect setting for your chill-out time.
