Ski & Wine Enjoyment Week from 14th to 21st of March, 2026

During the skiing and wine tasting week from March 14 to 21, 2026, we offer our guests at the Burgstallhütte some special highlights. 

Our rental shop in Sportgastein is located directly in the valley station of the Goldbergbahn. In addition to skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing equipment, we also rent out snowshoes, avalanche transceivers, shovels and probes.

We also offer a small selection of gloves, skis and sunglasses in the shop.

Looking for the ideal spot for your winter or summer holiday? The fantastic countryside around our newly-refurbished Berggasthof Hinterreit provides the perfect setting for sporting and leisureactivities of all kinds.

Sit back and relax on our delightful sun terrace or inone of our cosy, traditional dining-rooms where we serve delicious local dishes made using produce from our own farm.

And you may even find yourself rubbing shoulders with famous ski stars, many of whom come to us in search ofwell-earned peace and relaxation at the end of a long training session.

Winter Recreation in Filzmoos

Filzmoos is a winter paradise for the entire family. Perfectly groomed slopes of all difficulty levels will delight skilled carvers and riders. The wide slope and open terrain are perfect for children, rookies and returners. Those wanting to demonstrate their skills can do so on the Michaela-Kirchgasser-FIS-run. Cross country skiers will not miss out in Filzmoos either. The high altitude cross country track with 16 km on the Rossbrand mountain is easily accessible with the Papageno cablecar.
