From the Sonnalm, the toboggan path leads through the snow-covered coniferous forest in serpentines down to the hotel village of Zauchensee at 1,350 m. A gentle route with a constant gradient.

The Alpentaverne is located at 1320 m above sea level directly at the mountain station of the 8-seater Hochbrand cable car and has been a family business for generations. Here you can enjoy home-style cooking, quick snacks, soups and sweets such as yeast dumplings, strudel and much more.

Our à-la-carte restaurant will spoil you with hearty and typically Austrian dishes that are prepared for you freshly, with plenty of passion, by using the best regional and seasonal produce. You can’t forget to have a delicious self-distilled schnapps to help you digest your meal though, of course!

On three downhills in the skiarea Zauchensee-Flachauwinkl you can become a ski-superstar: Full speed ahed on the skimovie parallel-slalom and on the skimovie funslope mixed race on Gamskogel and shred down the slope at skimobie giant slalom at Kogelalm! Experience mountains and nature consciously. We have created for you in the mountain area some quiet Platzl with trendy as well as classic seating. With a dreamlike view you can relax at the Natur Platzl, Sonnen Platzl, Servus Platzl, Gamsjaga Platzl or Glockner Platzl.
