These include runs with ideal conditions and natural deep snow slopes. Modern cable cars bring you up all day and of course a stop at the tom Almhütte is a must.

 

AN ADVENTURE WITH SAFETY – FREERIDE INFO POINT

Freeriding takes place away from the slopes and comes with its own natural dangers. You have to take into consideration such things as avalanche alert levels, exposure, slope gradient, snow cover, and emergency equipment. In classic ski areas, information for freeriders is in short supply. Not so in the Hochkönig ski region.

Find out about the most popular freeride routes on the mountain and the up-to-date avalanche risk at the freeride info point at the summit station of the Aberg gondola. With the help of the built-in avalanche beacon checker, you can make sure that your avalanche transceiver is working. Safety is thus guaranteed while you are out and about.

The Ski-safari is offered by the local ski school Schischule Resch in Forstau. On the ski-safari you will be shown the most beautiful pistes in the region by a ski instructor.

Naturrodelbahn mit einer Länge von 3 km mit Ende direkt in Flachau!

Spezialisierung: Der Berggasthof Sattelbauer, einer der schönsten Berggasthöfe im Salzburgerland auf 1300 Metern Höhe inmitten von Wald und Wiesen, lädt zum Verweilen ein. Der herrliche Ausblick zum Griesenkar, dem mächtigen Dachstein-Massiv und der ehrfürchtigen Bischofsmütze lässt wohl jedes Wanderherz höher schlagen! Unser Lokal ist mit Holz aus einem 300 Jahre alten Bauernhaus ausgestattet. Unsere Stuben strahlen Gemütlichkeit, Behagen und herzliche Gastlichkeit aus. Die liebevollen Details erinnern an Tradition und Brauchtum. Unsere Küche ist herzhaft und bodenständig, die Produkte größtenteils aus eigener Landwirtschaft. Die hausgemachte Sulze, das Wiener Schnitzel aus der Pfanne, der deftige Bauernschmaus, die wunderbaren Schweinemedaillons oder Wildspezialitäten sind nur einige unserer Spezialitäten. Zum süßen Abschluss laden die warme Mohntorte, Strudeln und Eis-Desserts ein. Wir sind sowohl für große Feiern als auch für Busse gerüstet. Der Planaihof liegt auf 1.800 m, am Ende der Planaistraße, direkt neben Onkel Willy‘s Hütte, am Sammelplatz der Skischule Planai, und rund 250 m westlich der Bergstation an der Piste 7a (Planaihof- Märchenwiese). Wir bieten unseren Gästen auch im Skiurlaub ruhige und gediegene Atmosphäre mit unserem Bergrestaurant und eine der schönsten Panoramaterrassen der Region. Ein echter Geheimtipp von Einheimischen und Stammgästen! Kulinarisch verwöhnen wir Dich mit unserer gut-bürgerlichen Küche und steirischen Spezialitäten wie unserem steirischen Mostbrat‘l und Schwarzbeerstrudel. Entspannen können bei uns auch Eltern, während sich ihre Kinder in der Spielecke oder im Schnee tummeln.

at the valley station of the 8 Königslehenbahn in Radstadt.
Also at the 6 km long toboggan run Königslehen and the Tauern cross-country trail. Ski school and ski rental directly in front of the house.

We are a family-run business, the needs of our guests is our priority. For us it is important that the guests come as a guest and leave as friends.
