The highest excursion point in the "Salzburger Sportwelt", which can be reached by lift, is thanks to the World Cup final in 2002, when the downhill course was extended to include the steep starting slope on the Gamskogel. The World Cup Express is usually open in fair weather during the main season (except during race preparation and World Cup races).
