Spezialisierung: Der Berggasthof Sattelbauer, einer der schönsten Berggasthöfe im Salzburgerland auf 1300 Metern Höhe inmitten von Wald und Wiesen, lädt zum Verweilen ein. Unser Lokal ist mit Holz aus einem 300 Jahre alten Bauernhaus ausgestattet. Unsere Stuben strahlen Gemütlichkeit, Behagen und herzliche Gastlichkeit aus. Die liebevollen Details erinnern an Tradition und Brauchtum. Unsere Küche ist herzhaft und bodenständig, die Produkte größtenteils aus eigener Landwirtschaft. Die hausgemachte Sulze, das Wiener Schnitzel aus der Pfanne, der deftige Bauernschmaus, die wunderbaren Schweinemedaillons oder Wildspezialitäten sind nur einige unserer Spezialitäten. Zum süßen Abschluss laden die warme Mohntorte, Strudeln und Eis-Desserts ein. Wir sind sowohl für große Feiern als auch für Busse gerüstet. The Fulseck, the ski mountain for the Dorfgastein - Grossarltal ski circuit, is so ideally situated that from the summit area you can see the highest mountains in the country from the Großglockner in the south-west to the Hochkönig in the north and the Hohe Dachstein in the north-east from one location. Right here, not far from the summit station of the Gipfelbahn - Fulseck cable car, we have built the ‘Dachsteinblick’ viewing platform on the foundations of the old T-bar lift. In this way, a magnificent panoramic hotspot has been realised with minimal intervention in nature. The best thing about it: the railing is made of shatterproof glass so that even the ski minis can admire the view.

A marvellous mountain backdrop and great views to the Dachstein – the Kaiblingalm is probably one of the most beautiful spots of all Styrian ski resorts. Easy to reach by the Alm 6er chairlift, one of Austria’s most modern and comfortable chairlifts: it is detachable, equipped with orange protection covers (“bubbles”), and has heated leather seats. Its base station is at 1,600 m, taking you up to an elevation of 1,950 m.

The ice stock sports facility of the Altenmarkt ice rifle club is open daily from 4.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.

at the valley station of the 8 Königslehenbahn in Radstadt.
Also at the 6 km long toboggan run Königslehen and the Tauern cross-country trail. Ski school and ski rental directly in front of the house.
