‘Griaß Di’ ... is the motto for young and old in our Gastein Alm in Bad Hofgastein, the meeting place for locals and guests. A casual restaurant with the motto ‘modern, fresh, inviting, cosy, informal,...’. Fresh products from the region, simply well prepared - from crispy fried chicken, great pan-fried dishes, freshly caught trout, crunchy salads to the much-loved pizzas. With the unique flair of the Gastein Alm, in the Rauchkuchl for smokers and in the new Herzerlstube for smaller groups, life is simply good. A cosy atmosphere for a good meal, a nice evening or simply a drink at the bar.

‘Natural, fresh and high-quality’ ... these keywords describe the philosophy of our cuisine. Gastein specialities, Austrian classics but also modern, light dishes are freshly prepared for you using high-quality ingredients. The Gastein Alm is open daily from 11.30 am to 10.30 pm. (Hot meals from 12:00 to 21:30) Every Wednesday we have a day off.

Festalm – We know how to celebrate properly!
Our Festalm is the ideal venue for your event. Weddings, family celebrations, concerts, cabarets, exhibitions, theatre performances, flea markets, shows, parties ... We offer various seating arrangements, a large stage with professional technology, bookable with or without catering.

Ski & Wine Enjoyment Week from 14th to 21st March, 2026

During the skiing and wine tasting week from March 14 to 21, 2026, we offer our guests at the Gastein Alm some special highlights. 

Flying in the beautiful Grossarl Valley

Paragliding is by no means limited to the warm seasons. Especially in winter there are flights in the Grossarl-Dorfgastein ski area where you can glide down the valley with us on snow-covered ski slopes. The cable car takes us directly to the starting point.

We offer vehicles for 8 passengers (VW bus, 4WD) and a saloon (MB) for 4 passengers.

Before you "hurtle down" on the mountain cart, there's a short training session and then you're off! 6.5 km of adventure and action await you. The Mountaincart is a newly developed fun sport device that is a lot of fun.
The spectacular ride on the mountain cart leads through a beautiful natural landscape and is a guaranteed hit for everyone!

We live in the most beautiful land of milk and honey in the world. With us in Austria you can feel the 4 seasons intensely with all your senses like almost no other place on earth. These seasons are the source of an incredible variety of top regional products. Cattle, calves, sheep, game, pigs, fish and much more, everything is within reach. We let these precious treasures flow into our kitchen with professionalism , consistency and passion.

Hermann Oberreiter , the owner of the house, had the idea to convert a cowshed into a more modern catering business. In 2000 the time had come: "Austrian cuisine interpreted in Asia". There are now creations that are probably not found anywhere else on a menu.
 

You can rent perfectly prepared skis and boards, as well as boots, poles, boots, boots, bootsticks and helmets from us. Benefit from the advantages of online booking! HAMBURGER SKIHÜTTE

Unsere nostalgische Skihütte liegt auf 1970m im wunderschönen Gasteinertal. Lasst euch von diesem herrlichen Skigebiet verzaubern und genießt mit uns dieses einzigartige Ambiente.

Der Platz an der Sonne! Machen Sie Rast auf der Sonnenterrasse, thronen sie über dem Gasteinertal und lassen Sie sich dabei mit regionalen Spezialitäten verwöhnen und nach einer Stärkung gehts gleich direkt ohne Lift auf die Piste. 

Übernachten auf der Hamburger Skihütte

Lass den Abend einfach gemütlich ausklingen und bleib doch über Nacht ! Wir verfügen über vier 2-Bettzimmer (Stockbetten), sieben 4-Bettzimmer (Stockbetten) und ein 6-Bettzimmer (Stockbetten) für euch! Die Zimmer sind einfach und zweckmäßig ausgestattet mit neuer Dusche/WC im selben Stockwerk. Mit heimischen Spezialitäten werden Sie in Halbpension (Abendessen und Frühstück) verwöhnt. Und nach dem Frühstück einfach die Skier anschnallen und los gehts.
