Experience mountains and nature consciously. We have created for you in the mountain area some quiet Platzl with trendy as well as classic seating. With a dreamlike view you can relax at the Natur Platzl, Sonnen Platzl, Servus Platzl, Gamsjaga Platzl or Glockner Platzl.

An impressive 360° panorama with phenomenal views in all directions awaits you at the mountain station of the Tauernkarbahn cable car at 1,890 metres. Our mascot ‘Zauchi’ is looking forward to being photographed with you. The Tauernkar is the easternmost peak of the ‘12 Peaks Trophy’ between Alpendorf in Snow Space Salzburg and the Zauchensee ski paradise.

For many years the brunner name has been synonymous with superb cuisine – and naturally we haven’t let our standards drop at the new Stadthotel brunner. With boundless curiosity for good things from around the globe, we have augmented our regional specialities with Ayurvedic and basic dishes. This means you can enjoy healthy fare that meets the supreme quality standards for which the brunner is renowned. At our buffet breakfast not only can special requests be communicated directly to the kitchen – you can also rest assured there will be healthy basic fare. In winter, when the cold mountain air of the Schladminger Tauern whips across your face outside, the smell of homemade Kaiserschmarren wafting over from the Schafalm lures you inside the cozy hut. The friendly staff there do their part to guarantee a perfect break before your next run down the Planai. In the winter months, the Schafalm is also home to a number of woolly four-legged creatures, "Valais blacknose sheep" who spend the winter in the adjacent barn (which you are also invited to peek inside), before returning to the lush green alpine meadows of the Planai in summer. An absolute highlight at the Schafalm, especially for younger guests.

Winter Recreation in Filzmoos

Filzmoos is a winter paradise for the entire family. Perfectly groomed slopes of all difficulty levels will delight skilled carvers and riders. The wide slope and open terrain are perfect for children, rookies and returners. Those wanting to demonstrate their skills can do so on the Michaela-Kirchgasser-FIS-run. Cross country skiers will not miss out in Filzmoos either. The high altitude cross country track with 16 km on the Rossbrand mountain is easily accessible with the Papageno cablecar. Skigebiete-test.de has awared Filzmoos "TOP skia area" in the category "skiareas with up to 20 kilometers".

The kid's cross country ski park offers this variety. There is a large snow hill for ascents and downhills, even through gates and over jumps and other obstacles. Ball games, relays or running games can be played on this ski-playground.

Great Value Skiing on monte popolo Eben –                Perfect for Families

The "Peoples' Mountain" fame has increased rapidly. With its claim to being "small but beautiful" and its great family specials, the area is perfect for families. Ski tots will love the newly created adventure run at the top station of the popolo II chairlift and the children's adventure land. Teens will be thrilled by the terrain park with great rails, Daring skiers can try to beat an Olympian's time on the self timing speed run named after the top skier Andrea Fischbacher. Whenever you need a break from skiing and boarding on the wide, perfectly groomed slopes, you will enjoy the cozy mountain cabins serving delicious food.

In the Bergheimat at 1,200 metres above sea level, you can experience the feeling of freedom, unique views, surrounded by nature and palpable tranquillity. Regional products from the Austrian gourmet regions and the surrounding area are valued and cooked here. The origin of the food is particularly important to the hosts, as is the personalised service for guests and their passion for good wine. 

‘I have tasted all the wines and know almost every face of the winemaker,’ says Sieglinde. She hikes to the surrounding mountain pastures and visits her favourite places on the Hochkönig, tastes wines on the mountain, picks and gets to know herbs. If there is time, there is of course also a ski day with the guests in between, including a stop for refreshments! ‘Social meals’ and themed evenings await special gourmets and you certainly won't go home without chatting with Sieglinde or Nathalie.
