During the skiing and wine tasting week from March 14 to 21, 2026, we offer our guests at the Gehwolf Alm some special highlights. 

Welcome to MOUNTAIN REVOLUTION, the interaktiv Alpine Guides Office in Gastein

Climbing, hiking, mountaineering and guided alpine tours in Gastein. A team of selected and highly qualified guides is happy to welcome you.

In winter we offer ice climbing at the sparkling blue icy-waterfalls in Gastein. The legendary ice-drops like Mordor, Supervisor or the glas palace are to choose from.

With the Valley Guiding we offer guided hiking tours in Gastein Valley, Alpine tours at 3000 meters, climbing tours and via ferratas. A special insider tipp are the "Secret Trails", almost forgotten. The legendary paths and tracks lead deep into the center of the National Park Hohe Tauern. Including ascending the Bocksteinkogel or the Tischlerspitze.

Only a few know the path – especially because it is necessary to use a rope and a safety for the ascent.

The way to the heart is through the stomach, and at the Jufenalm you can taste tradition! Our à-la-carte restaurant will spoil you with hearty and typically Austrian dishes that are prepared for you freshly, with plenty of passion, by using the best regional and seasonal produce. A trip through the white mountains is an unforgettable experience. In winter, hot air balloon rides are performed from Flaggl Balloning GmbH in Filzmoos. Further information at the tourist information.

As you know, you have a fantastic view of the mountains of Schladming-Dachstein everywhere on the Planai – even from the toilet. At the Sky Toilets at the Märchenwiesenbahn you can enjoy a great view – depending on the season – over lush green mountain meadows or perfectly groomed ski slopes.
