At our Gasthof Mühlbauernstube in Saalfelden, it's not just a love of cookery that takes top priority, the use of high-quality ingredients is also important. They must be fresh and as far as possible from the region. In the cosy parlour you can feast with joy and pleasure or enjoy the warming winter sun on our wonderful sun terrace. Skiers, snowboarders, cross-country skiers and winter hikers - but of course all non-sports enthusiasts and connoisseurs are also welcome here at any time.

The Restaurant “Zum Holzwurm” was opened in 1988 by Brunhilde and Willi Gappmaier and is a culinary fixture in the region around Flachau. In summer our cosy terrace entices guests to dine, celebrate and enjoy each other’s company. There’s a great children’s playground in front of our restaurant in Flachau. In winter skiers pop in for breakfast – as the restaurant is situated right on the slopes of the Snow Space Salzburg in Ski amadé.
 

The ice stock sports facility of the Altenmarkt ice rifle club is open daily from 4.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.

Please reserve in advance by phone or email. Further information can be found on the homepage. The minimum number of participants is ten.

Every Wednesday between 6.00 p.m. and 9.00 p.m. the ice rifle club organizes a free guest shooting. Please register with Rupert Nocker by Tuesday 5.00 p.m.

Anyone who strives for higher goals and has the necessary commitment will find all the opportunities for challenges on the mountain at the Klaus Ski School, especially since the Hochkönig region and our experienced ski instructors open all doors for this. Adrenaline-filled variant trips with steep slopes, deep snow or bumps are still the ultimate for freeriders and individualists.

Who seduced whom here? Eve the Adam or the breathtaking panorama the pleasure woodpecker? Let's be honest. History should actually be rewritten. Because up here, 1000 meters above sea level, embedded in this unique mountain and hilly landscape, sin seems to have been born. Whereby: "There’s no sin on the mountain pasture" – and so we indulge in enjoyment and joie de vivre together and no longer ask about who did or what. We just enjoy life and invite everyone to participate. Summer and winter. Spring and autumn. Welcome to Gasthof Kronreith in Maria Alm.

Knirschender Schnee, jungfräuliche Pisten, die Lifte (fast) für dich alleine und ein perfektes Frühstück in einer der schönsten Hütten der Region Hochkönig. Das alles und noch mehr erlebt man beim Hochkönig Early Morning Skiing in Mühlbach am Hochkönig.

Beim Hochkönig Early Morning Skiing heißt es schon etwas zeitiger aufstehen. Treffpunkt ist um 07:15 Uhr bei der Kabinenbahn Karbachalm in Mühlbach mit anschließendem Skigenuss auf den Pisten rund um den Schneeberg. Gefahren wird in 3 Gruppen (pro, intermediate und chill), welche von der Geschäftsführung und Betriebsleitung der Hochkönig Bergbahnen begleitet werden. 25 Personen haben mittwochs (03.02., 10.02., 17.02., 24.02., 02.03. und 09.03.2016) die Möglichkeit ihre Schwünge in die unberührten Pisten am Hochkönig zu ziehen.

Im Preis von € 48,-- ist neben den Insider-Tipps der Bergbahnen ein Frühstück, serviert ab ca. 09:30 Uhr im Bergrestaurant Karbachalm, inkludiert.

Anmeldung und Information: Voraussetzung: skifahrerisches Können für (zumindest) rote Pisten und EIN GÜLTIGER SKIPASS. Limitierte Teilnehmerzahl, daher rechtzeitige Anmeldung erforderlich (wochentags 08:00 bis 12:00 Uhr im Büro der Hochkönig Bergbahnen, oder per Mail an office@hochkoenig-bergbahnen.at).
