Ski amadé from A to Z

A marvellous mountain backdrop and great views to the Dachstein – the Kaiblingalm is probably one of the most beautiful spots of all Styrian ski resorts. Easy to reach by the Alm 6er chairlift, one of Austria’s most modern and comfortable chairlifts: it is detachable, equipped with orange protection covers (“bubbles”), and has heated leather seats. Its base station is at 1,600 m, taking you up to an elevation of 1,950 m.

The monument was set up in honour of Kaspar Steger, owner of the Knoller Farm in Flachauwinkl. He was one of the freedom fighters who drove Napoleon's troops back as far as Kuchl. Situated in front of the Raiffeisen Bank building.

The 140 m long suspension bridge on the Stubnerkogel is accessible all year round and is located not far from the Stubnerkogelbahn mountain station in Bad Gastein. The bridge takes summit strikers 2.300 m above sea level from the terrace of the mountain restaurant to the transmitter station. It guarantees not only thrills, but also magnificent views of snow-covered mountains.
