Welcome to the LUMBERJACK on the Shuttleberg Flachauwinkl-Kleinarl, the first organic ski and mountain hut in the Alps and a new retreat for flexitarians, vegetarians and vegans, organized in the form of a food hall. Only organic products from the immediate vicinity and according to a clear concept of origin are eaten and drunk here in the heart of Ski amadé.
The Loosbühelalm is also open in winter.
Enjoy a fantastic winter scenery at 1,769 m (away from the ski slopes). You can reach the Alm with tourn skis, snowshoes, on foot or with a taxi. The cozy parlors invite you to rest, where you will be spoiled with farm products. Toboggans are available for hire on the Loosbühelalm.

The Kleinbergalm can be reached on foot from the centre of the village or on the Grossberg chairlift. The alpine hut and the toboggan run are very popular – in the evenings too.
Ab der Bergstation der Dachstein-Gletscherbahnen gibt es ein Angebot von Ski-Übergängen und Steilabfahrten das weltweit seinesgleichen sucht. Zahlreiche Talorte rund um den Dachstein können von hier per Ski erreicht werden.Tourenabfahrten führen nach Hallstatt, Obertraun, Ramsau, Gosau, Gröbming oder Filzmoos. Die Höhenunterschiede betragen bis zu 2000 m, die Streckenlängen bis zu 30 Kilometern! Gemeinsam mit den teils extremen Steilabfahrten gibt es 16 Tourenabfahrten die an der Bergstation der Dachstein-Gletscherbahnen ihren Ausgangspunkt haben.

Snowshoe hike to the Karseggalm in Grossarl.
From the Breitenebenalm car park, snowshoe uphill along the goods road or along the shortcuts through the forest to the Breitenebenalm (not open in winter). Shortly before the Breitenebenalm, you pass a game reserve. The trail continues partly through the forest and partly over snow fields to the Karseggalm (not open in winter). At the Karseggalm you can enjoy the marvellous winter landscape. Return along the same route.
