Ski amadé van A tot Z

On a small hill in the Aberg ski area in Maria Alm, a panoramic box seat with wooden thrones promises unforgettable souvenir photos and videos.

The Hexenhäusl is among the most charming party locations in Bad Gastein. In its rustic ambiance with wood construction, you can meet for après ski and the nightlife, or you can enjoy a wonderful spare rib meal with schnapps. With the day of skiing over and the slopes quiet, Hansi Buchner will get things bubbling with pounding rhythms...

...but none is as special as the Tom alpine cabin. This may be due to the fact that in the whole of Maria Alm, no, in the whole of Salzburger Land, there is no other alpine hut with a pug (Choupette is her precious name) as a mascot. But probably also because of how we run our hut. 

In addition to a spectacular mountain panorama, we offer a good dose of taste: modern architecture is combined with rustic hut charm, the bubbly for the sundowner is specially created and the menu delivers what an alpine hut promises. Anyone expecting a classic ski lodge on the mountain will be surprised here - but that's exactly how we like it.

From meat, cheese and bread – to typical home cooking with live music from "die Niachtn" and Gstanzlsinger Weber Bene!

15th of March, 2024 from 18:30 – Gondola dinner

Comfortably "gondola" at sunset and enjoy a fantastic menu with your loved ones in the private gondola!

We serve you quickly and carefully in the cosy parlours and on the sun terrace. We serve down-to-earth and creative dishes with many products from our region. We serve meat, fish, vegan and vegetarian dishes, not forgetting our delicious desserts.

Ski & Wine Enjoyment Week from 9th to 16th of March, 2024

From 9th to 16th of March 2024, the Burgstallhütte will be dedicated to the motto "Wine meets cheese and sweets – wines from all over Austria with dessert and cheese".
Wine enjoyment from the large bottle, special cheese platters and dessert variations are offered daily.
