The Naturfreunde-Schutzhaus Kaiblingalm lies at 1778 metres above sea level, in the midst of a nature jewel. The stone pine trees, the mountain pines, the small, hidden away lakes, and the bowls give our "Alm" its unique character. Here, in the Kaiblingalm area, you can simply sit back and unwind.

In winter, we try to pass on to our guests some of this piece and quiet by not turning on loud music in our dining rooms and on the terrace. Naturally we would like our visitors to enjoy good food and drink, that we prepare for you with care. Traditional, hearty local dishes will be a pleasurable culinary experience. To prepare the dishes, we use mainly local produce which we get directly at the producers. As to coffee and tea, we purchase the free-trade alternative.

Overnight stay at the Kaiblingalm

Do you remember how dark a night can be, how a sky full of stars looks like? Far away from disturbing advertising lights, you can experience this particular view from here. Away form the busy world, there is not much noise in our valley basin.

Naturrodelbahn mit einer Länge von 3 km mit Ende direkt in Flachau!

Spezialisierung: Der Berggasthof Sattelbauer, einer der schönsten Berggasthöfe im Salzburgerland auf 1300 Metern Höhe inmitten von Wald und Wiesen, lädt zum Verweilen ein. Der herrliche Ausblick zum Griesenkar, dem mächtigen Dachstein-Massiv und der ehrfürchtigen Bischofsmütze lässt wohl jedes Wanderherz höher schlagen! Unser Lokal ist mit Holz aus einem 300 Jahre alten Bauernhaus ausgestattet. Unsere Stuben strahlen Gemütlichkeit, Behagen und herzliche Gastlichkeit aus. Die liebevollen Details erinnern an Tradition und Brauchtum. Unsere Küche ist herzhaft und bodenständig, die Produkte größtenteils aus eigener Landwirtschaft. Die hausgemachte Sulze, das Wiener Schnitzel aus der Pfanne, der deftige Bauernschmaus, die wunderbaren Schweinemedaillons oder Wildspezialitäten sind nur einige unserer Spezialitäten. Zum süßen Abschluss laden die warme Mohntorte, Strudeln und Eis-Desserts ein. Wir sind sowohl für große Feiern als auch für Busse gerüstet. Über die neu errichtete Straße von Flachau aus sind wir problemlos und einfach zu erreichen. Wir bitten um Vorreservierung! Whether skiing, snowboarding, race camp, or a snow adventure, we are here to provide you with optimal supervision and individual learning! BOBO kid’s club ski school with its own practice area is right near the Schlossalmbahn valley station. 

Here exclusively: max. 8-10 children per group!

The Bistro Inferno you will find at the valley station of the Kieserlbahn Grossarltal.

Cosy, rustic restaurant with table service in the World Cup Arena Zauchensee. Here you are pampered with home cooking, Int. Dishes and delicious desserts!
At lunchtime, the restaurant will be expanded to include the Arena bar with large sun terrace.

The Arena is also perfect for all kinds of celebrations (Christmas, birthday parties, award ceremonies for Company ski races, etc.).
