"Griaß Di" ... heißt es für Jung und Alt in unserer Gastein Alm in Bad Hofgastein, dem  Treffpunkt für Einheimische und Gäste. Frische Produkte aus der Region, einfach gut zubereitet – vom knusprigen Backhenderl, tollen Pfannengerichten, fangfrischen Forellen, knackigen Salaten bis hin zu den heißgeliebten Pizzen. Die urige Garnhofhütte liegt auf 1350 m direkt im Herzen von Zauchensee. Als eine der ersten Almhütten steht Sie seit über 200 Jahren mitten in unserem schönen Skigebiet. 

A built 90% of wood in 1932 hut. It offers a breathtaking view of the Pinzgauer Kalkalpen and the Leoganger Steinberge or the Hochkönig. After skiing or after a hike, we will spoil you with all kinds of delicious treats, with products from our own farm.

There is a new panorama platform to discover on the Schlossalm. The platform offers visitors a great view over the entire Schlossalm area. The Schlossalm view rises above the rocks, which is why it creates the feeling of floating. In the bottom of the viewing platform there is a transparent grid, which allows a sensational view into the depths. On the platform there is a bench to rest, have a snack or just enjoy the view.

The Schoarlhütte is located in the middle of the "World Cup Downhill". It offers a wonderful view of the Dachstein massif and is one of the alpine ski huts on the Hauser Kaibling.

At the Schoarlhütte, a good mood and a great atmosphere are very important – the landlords take care of that personally. Whether on the sheltered sun terrace, on the nail stick or in the rustic hut, everyone will find their place here.

• Styrian 'Wurzelfleisch' (boiled beef) with vegetables and potatoes
• Potato-soup-pot with garlic bread

Sparkling snow crystals as far as the eye can reach. Enjoy powder skiing at its best in the Dachstein glacier ski area, that is, unsurprisingly, also called 'Austria's ski touring Eldorado'. There are countless ski mountaineering tours, steep downhills, ski routes and freerides from and to the Dachstein plateau.

The most spectacular freeride run is the 'Edelgrieß', quite a challenge for even experienced mountaineers.
