Delicious and honest - these are the two attributes that best describe the culinary offerings of Paularei. Surrounded by a homely feel-good atmosphere with a modern and vintage design can be enjoyed. It’s always open from 7.30 till 02.00 o’clock also on Sundays and public holidays!

A real highlight in the Paularei is the unique concept of space, flexible regions and different heights react to each other in the perfect way and fascinate with gentle contrasts. Rounded with graffiti and photography at its finest, the result is a convincing unit from larger dining tables, the room, the cozy fireplace areas and the bar.

Die Urlaubsregion Gastein kann man auf über 45km gespurten und bestens präparierten Loipenkilometern entdecken. Der Großteil ist sowohl im klassischen als auch im Skating- Stil zu bewältigen. Wer tagsüber nicht genug bekommt oder mit einer der anderen vielfältigen Möglichkeiten im Gasteinertal beschäftigt ist, der kann sich auf unseren Flutlichtloipen (Bad Hofgastein und Böckstein teilweise) bis 22 Uhr austoben.

In summer, the Gabühelhütte is a worthwhile destination for many hikers and mountain bikers and in winter it is a meeting place for skiers, winter hikers and ski tourers, as the rustic hut is only 200 meters below the Gabühelbahn mountain station. We also warmly welcome bus and smaller wedding parties!

You will be spoiled at the Gabühelhütte in the Hochkönig region, especially with Pinzgau specialties, because the "farmer's donuts" made by the landlady Klara are known far beyond the borders. But also a hearty snack, cranberry dumplings, cheese dumplings or a grill plate can be found on the extensive menu.

Through the sunny location of the terrace our house is popular with skiers. They can enjoy the magnificent Bergwelt. If snowboarders or skiers, all feel comfortable with a stop-off in the Arlhofhütte. Original Austrian cuisine spoil you in the Arlhofhütte at the valley station of the Hochbifangbahn. Just the thing to get your strength back!

Nach dem Skitag ist Glieder entspannen angesagt, aber ein paar neue Entdeckungen haben noch Platz. So fährt man ins Tal und dort entweder zu Fuß oder mit dem Skibus ins Ortszentrum von Großarl. Im Troadkastn“, dem neuen Bauernladen in Großarl locken unzählige heimische Schmankerl, vom typischen Sauerkäse über selbst geräucherten Speck bis hin zum süßen Almrosenblüten-Honig (geöffnet Di, Mi, Fr, Sa). Direkt gegenüber befindet sich das Atelier Astei mit traditioneller, überwiegend aber zeitgenössisch moderner Schnitzkunst. Für Anhänger zeitlos schöner Trachtenmode findet sich unweit das 2018 neu eröffnete Geschäft von „Almsommer Trachtenmode“.
