According to snow and weather conditions, you can choose from a great offer of cross-country trails. Along the river Enns or the "Dörferlanglaufloipe" Haus-Aich-Pruggern, the " Kufsteinloipe" in Weißenbach, or the "Sonnenloipe" in Birnberg, both classic and skating runners will enjoy it to the full.

During the Ski and Wine Enjoyment Week from 9th to 16th March 2024, we offer our guests in the Oberforsthof Alm special highlights. 
When you order an Austrian white wine, you will receive a bottle of Ski amadé wine free of charge. When you enjoy an Amadé gourmet platter, we will give you two glasses of Ski amadé wine as a special gift from the house. Enjoy the perfect combination of skiing fun and exquisite wine enjoyment in our alpine hut.

You should definitely not miss out on the regional dishes of the Oberforsthof Alm menu.

In summer, the Gabühelhütte is a worthwhile destination for many hikers and mountain bikers and in winter it is a meeting place for skiers, winter hikers and ski tourers, as the rustic hut is only 200 meters below the Gabühelbahn mountain station. We also warmly welcome bus and smaller wedding parties!

You will be spoiled at the Gabühelhütte in the Hochkönig region, especially with Pinzgau specialties, because the "farmer's donuts" made by the landlady Klara are known far beyond the borders. But also a hearty snack, cranberry dumplings, cheese dumplings or a grill plate can be found on the extensive menu.

The Restaurant “Zum Holzwurm” was opened in 1988 by Brunhilde and Willi Gappmaier and is a culinary fixture in the region around Flachau. In summer our cosy terrace entices guests to dine, celebrate and enjoy each other’s company. There’s a great children’s playground in front of our restaurant in Flachau. In winter skiers pop in for breakfast – as the restaurant is situated right on the slopes of the Snow Space Salzburg in Ski amadé.

Highest Farmers' Market in the Alps from 09 to 16 March, 2024

During the Farmers' Market week from 9 to 16 March 2024, daily specials with traditional dishes will be offered. 
The big Farmers' Market will take place on Sunday, 10 March 2024 – fresh meat fritters and a variety of market stalls will be available.
