Galsterberg

Family skiing pleasure far away from the hustle and bustle

Small, fine and versatile, the Galsterberg ski area presents itself far away from the hustle and bustle in the Schladming-Dachstein vacation region. Not only cozy slopes, lots of fun in Galstiland and action on the toboggan run inspire the ski fans here: the ultra-modern 10-seater gondola lift convinces with comfortable cabins, short travel time and a perfect panoramic view over the region.

The 10-seater gondola lift

The ultra-modern 10-seater gondola lift impresses ski fans with its comfort, short ride time and a great view over the Schladming-Dachstein region.

With upholstered individual seats and plenty of legroom, the cozy cabins ensure maximum ride comfort. In addition, thanks to the generous glass fronts, there is a 360° panoramic view of the region to enjoy. The 10-seater gondola lift can transport up to 1,200 people per hour up the mountain. Long waiting times, as with the group gondola lift, are thus a thing of the past and guests can start directly into the skiing fun. With a building architecture in shingle design, the stations fit perfectly into the landscape.

Galstiland

Fun and excitement awaits the little ones on the slopes in Galstiland. Galstiland can be skied in its entirety and also offers flat terrain for beginners. Attractions such as the wild boar hunt in the Little Gaul Park, the 85-meter-long magic carpet, talking figures and a wooden musical skidoo will delight the little guests.

Fun Runs

In addition to Galstiland, three fun runs also await you on the Galsterberg – in addition to funny figures, you'll go over fast-paced jumps and many snow obstacles.

The Little Gaul Park, the Bottelix menhir quarry and the Roman Road VII are full of surprises and offer varied fun on the slopes for the whole family.

Winter hiking trail

Connoisseurs can let themselves be enchanted by the winter landscape on the idyllic winter hiking trail on the Galsterberg.

The trail starts at the mountain station of the gondola, passes the pumping station and the storage pond. Continue along a forest path to the cordial photo point. With a souvenir photo in your luggage, you return to the mountain station.

Tip: The trail is also ideal for snowshoe hikers!
