Arrival by car 
If you are coming from the west, you can comfortably take the Munich-Salzburg motorway and continue on the Tauern motorway (A 10) to the Ennstal junction. From there it is only about 40 km via the Ennstal Bundesstraße (B 320) to the Schladming-Dachstein region, Michaelerberg-Pruggern junction. 

Coming from the east, the journey is via Vienna (A 23) and the southern motorway (A 2), then via the Semmering (S 6) to the St. Michael junction. From there, take the Pyhrnautobahn (A 9) to the Liezen junction. On the Ennstal main road (B 320) it is still about 40 km to the Schladming-Dachstein region, Michaelerberg-Pruggern junction. 

From the south-east, the journey is also via the Pyhrn motorway (A 9) to the Liezen junction and approx. 40 km on the Ennstal main road (B 320) to the Schladming-Dachstein region, Michaelerberg-Pruggern junction.

For those arriving from the south, take the Tauern motorway (A 10) to the Ennstal junction. From there it is only about 40 km via the Ennstal main road (B 320) to the Schladming-Dachstein region, Michaelerberg-Pruggern junction.

Arrival by train 
A good alternative to travelling by car is by train. This is not only less stressful, but also environmentally friendly. Michaelerberg-Pruggern is very easy to reach by train thanks to the Salzburg - Graz railway line. The nearest bigger train station is Schladming, from here you can easily take the regional train to Michaelerberg-Pruggern.
