Arrival by car
If you are arriving from the west, take the motorway from Munich to Salzburg and continue on the Tauern Motorway (A 10) to the Graz exit. From there, it is only about 40 km via the Ennstal Federal Road (B 320) to the Schladming-Dachstein region, Michaelerberg-Pruggern turn-off.
From the east, travel via Vienna (A 23) and the Southern Motorway (A 2), then continue over Semmering (S 6) to the St. Michael junction. From there, take the Pyhrn Motorway (A 9) to the Liezen junction. On the Ennstal Federal Road (B 320), it is still around 40 km to the Schladming-Dachstein region, Michaelerberg-Pruggern turn-off.
From the south-east, travel via the Pyhrn Motorway (A 9) to the Liezen junction and then about 40 km on the Ennstal Federal Road (B 320) to the Schladming-Dachstein region, Michaelerberg-Pruggern turn-off.

Arrival by train
An alternative to arriving by car is the train. This way of travelling is not only stress-free, but also environmentally friendly. Michaelerberg-Pruggern is very easy to reach by train thanks to the international railway line Salzburg – Graz. The nearest major station is Schladming; from there, you can conveniently take the regional train to Michaelerberg-Pruggern. From the village square in Michaelerberg-Pruggern (just 50 metres from the station), the ski bus runs to the valley station of the Galsterberg.
