Afterwards, all hard-working early risers are rewarded with a summit breakfast high up at 2,700 metres so that you can refuel.

The atmosphere at the Graukogel in Bad Gastein is unique. Here you can enjoy a fantastic panorama of Bad Gastein and ski on pure natural snow slopes. The Graukogel is not only the right place for ambitious skiers and nature lovers, but also snowshoe hikers and ski tourers can often be found on the Graukogel.

In the winter season, every Tuesday and Friday, there is the night tobogganing on the natural toboggan run Aeroplan at the Schlossalm. When tobogganing in Gastein you whizz down into the valley. Turning technique and balance are required when parents are trying to catch up with their children!
