You want to sleep long, but don´t miss the fun on the slopes? No problem, you can race into the valley at late hours on the floodlit piste at the cable car. Whether day or night, safety must not be neglected at rapid downhills.

If you hire at INTERSPORT Schneider, base station cable car, you will be properly equipped with a helmet and protective gear. Valuable safety information can be received on top of it for free by the competent INTERSPORT Rent employees!

You can practice your moves on kicker line, rail combo, half pipe and jib line to perfection in the Absolut Park. All obstacles are shaped and maintained daily. With the start of the 2025/26 winter season, the family-owned company Sport & Modehaus Mandl from Gröbming will officially take over the ski rental at Galsterberg. The new takeover brings a breath of fresh air, modern equipment and the usual high quality of service to the popular family ski resort.

Mandl has many years of experience in winter sports and is known in the region for its professional ski service, high-quality rental equipment and personal advice.

With the takeover, the ski rental at Galsterberg will be comprehensively modernised. Guests can look forward to an extensive selection of rental skis, touring skis and snowboards for adults and children.

Our rental shop in Sportgastein is located directly in the valley station of the Goldbergbahn. In addition to skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing equipment, we also rent out snowshoes, avalanche transceivers, shovels and probes.
