The Kessleralm is the only hut right in the heart of the Planai (valley station Lärchkogel middle station cable car), all large slopes lead to the hut, it is therefore ideal as a meeting point. In summer, the Gabühelhütte is a worthwhile destination for many hikers and mountain bikers and in winter it is a meeting place for skiers, winter hikers and ski tourers, as the rustic hut is only 200 meters below the Gabühelbahn mountain station. We also warmly welcome bus and smaller wedding parties!

You will be spoiled at the Gabühelhütte in the Hochkönig region, especially with Pinzgau specialties, because the "farmer's donuts" made by the landlady Klara are known far beyond the borders. But also a hearty snack, cranberry dumplings, cheese dumplings or a grill plate can be found on the extensive menu.

A nice bar which is affectionately restored at the vault in the Römerturm.

The present building that houses the museum, the "Hoamathaus", was built around 1408 and was mainly used in former times to accommodate the miners who mined ore in the region, and especially in Flachau.

The Bike Station Kessleralm is located directly next to the restaurant Kessleralm. At this location there is a high-quality e-bike selection to experience the uphill flow trail of the Bikepark Schladming in the truest sense of the word. The Fully's are also perfect to use the whole bike park. There are bikes from Nox Cycles, Mondraker as well as Fantic on site. There is always a bike mechanic at the station which guarantees a perfect all-round service.

For our children is available in Hugo's Kinderland one of the longest and most modern high-tech conveyor belts in the region with 26 m length. And do not forget our children's ski instructors with heart, humor and guaranteed pure skiing fun!

With e-bikes into the mountains: With e-bikes, lonely remote peaks can be easily made as a day tour or various fixed rope routes can be reached.
