At the Stubnerkogel in Bad Gastein there is the viewing platform "Talblick" with a magnificent view northwards over Bad Hofgastein. This further point of attraction and place to stay for our guests is located below the transmitter and is also a popular highlight in winter. Whether pedestrian or skier, the Talblick is worth a visit in any case. 

In winter, the mountains attract skiers and snowboarders. The Gastein ski region in the heart of Austria comprises 4 ski areas with a total of 220 kilometres of pistes. But cross-country skiers also love the Gastein Valley and enjoy the healthy Nordic endurance sport on the valley trail or the snow-sure high-altitude trail. Those who want to get to know the cold season from its gentler side will find the opportunity to do so on winter hikes. Tobogganing and romantic horse-drawn sleigh rides are also possible in the white landscape. Wherever you go: You will always be accompanied by the majestic natural scenery of the Gastein mountains around the Hotel Römerhof in Dorfgastein.

The Wengeralm is located directly on the ski slopes in the Gastein Valley at 1,650 m and offers guests a spacious restaurant, a cozy bar and a sun terrace. In the summer, right in the walking area near the middle station of the summit lift Fulseck located, it is a popular destination for hikers and families. Our cozy parlor with an open fireplace and comfortable seating invites you to spend sociable evenings.

From 12:00: Wine tasting with a winemaker from the Gmeiner winery in Burgenland
 

The way to the heart is through the stomach, and at the Jufenalm you can taste tradition! Our à-la-carte restaurant will spoil you with hearty and typically Austrian dishes that are prepared for you freshly, with plenty of passion, by using the best regional and seasonal produce. You can’t forget to have a delicious self-distilled schnapps to help you digest your meal though, of course!

From regional and seasonal products, the basic dishes are refined. Selected Austrian wines and fruity cocktails from the bar to make a visit in Possruck unforgettable.

The Possruck bar is the ideal meeting place for all ages: Whether before you eat quickly a delicious aperitif, or after dining a good digestif, a fruity cocktail or homemade specialty shots.

There are three lighted lanes. Our snow cannon ensures that the Railways are in top condition. At the "Rösteralm" there are snowtubes to borrow.

A beautifully laid table is a matter of course at the Zinnkrügl. Outdoors or in the cosy dining rooms. Please take a seat...

On the artificial skating rink in the St. Johann town centre (next to the Hahnbaum winter lifts). You can hire ice skates.
