Ski amadé from A to Z

The 140 m long suspension bridge on the Stubnerkogel is accessible all year round and is located not far from the Stubnerkogelbahn mountain station in Bad Gastein. The bridge takes summit strikers 2.300 m above sea level from the terrace of the mountain restaurant to the transmitter station. It guarantees not only thrills, but also magnificent views of snow-covered mountains. The Jagahütte is located directly on the exit of the slope No. 5 Hochbrand at the confluence of the slope Himmelreich No. 10 at 1600 m. The cozy dining room with a great ambience invites you to linger. The sunny terrace is a perfect place for ski tourers an skiers as well. The Jagahütte also offers overnight acccommodation for up to 12 people. 

The MONDI Bellevue Alm Gastein, directly opposite the „MONDI Schiefe Alm Gastein, is the ideal place to switch of and enjoy the moment. The MONDI Bellevue Alm Gastein will soon have you hooked – it ticks all the boxes!

Solely fresh local and regional produce is used for preparing the Austrian and international dishes; quite unlike the cuisine you would usually expect from an Alpine lodge eaterie. Aside from the classic Austrian rustic staples, such as spare ribs or beef filet the « Bellevue Alm » Fondue is top notch. Tempting, tasty snack dishes for in-between are also available. Classic kids‘ favourites ranging from fried pork escalope to „Berner“ sausages are on offer on the kids‘ menu. In a nutshell: good, plain cooking with served with some extra zing and at a reasonable price.

FREESTYLE COACH

The Naturfreunde-Schutzhaus Kaiblingalm lies at 1778 metres above sea level, in the midst of a nature jewel. The stone pine trees, the mountain pines, the small, hidden away lakes, and the bowls give our "Alm" its unique character. Here, in the Kaiblingalm area, you can simply sit back and unwind.

In winter, we try to pass on to our guests some of this piece and quiet by not turning on loud music in our dining rooms and on the terrace. Naturally we would like our visitors to enjoy good food and drink, that we prepare for you with care. Traditional, hearty local dishes will be a pleasurable culinary experience. To prepare the dishes, we use mainly local produce which we get directly at the producers. As to coffee and tea, we purchase the free-trade alternative.

Overnight stay at the Kaiblingalm

Do you remember how dark a night can be, how a sky full of stars looks like? Far away from disturbing advertising lights, you can experience this particular view from here. Away form the busy world, there is not much noise in our valley basin.
