Die urige Garnhofhütte liegt auf 1350 m direkt im Herzen von Zauchensee. Als eine der ersten Almhütten steht Sie seit über 200 Jahren mitten in unserem schönen Skigebiet. 

Have you ever dreamed to look at the world with the eyes of a bird – without motor, without noise? A paragliding flight can make this dream come true. And everyone can do it – in a tandem flight! Together with a qualified and experienced tandem pilot no previous courses or special requirements are needed, just a little bit of courage.

Highest Farmers' Market in the Alps from 09 to 16 March, 2024

During the Farmers' Market week from 9 to 16 March 2024, daily specials with traditional dishes will be offered. 
The big Farmers' Market will take place on Sunday, 10 March 2024 – fresh meat fritters and a variety of market stalls will be available.

Mountain restaurant with terrace and umbrella bar directly after the 1st descent from the top station of the cable car Karbachalm. Wonderful view of the Hochkönig.

There is a new panorama platform to discover on the Schlossalm. The platform offers visitors a great view over the entire Schlossalm area. The Schlossalm view rises above the rocks, which is why it creates the feeling of floating. In the bottom of the viewing platform there is a transparent grid, which allows a sensational view into the depths. On the platform there is a bench to rest, have a snack or just enjoy the view.

Our child and family-friendly farm is located in a high valley of the Niedere Tauern, 10 km southwest of Schladming, at an altitude of 1040 m, opposite the Dachstein massif.

Enjoy the sun on a deck chair between descents and still have a direct view of the popular east slope descent from the summit? Sounds great, doesn't it? It is our opinion too!

The sunny Bergschlössl right at the exit point of the Höfi Express II invites you to enjoy, linger and have fun.

A beautiful wintery mountain panorama promises Höchalm-Adlerhorst Hut, which lies at the foot of the Rosskopf in Zauchensee. Here you can enjoy either in the cozy lounges or on the sun terrace with local "specialties".

We serve you the best delicacies from local Austrian cuisine paired with international influences – in the rustic parlor and on our terrace. Let yourself be pampered by our team and enjoy the moment with a view of the breathtaking mountains of Zauchensee. As is well known, the eye eats too!

...but none is as special as the Tom alpine cabin. This may be due to the fact that in the whole of Maria Alm, no, in the whole of Salzburger Land, there is no other alpine hut with a pug (Choupette is her precious name) as a mascot. But probably also because of how we run our hut. 

In addition to a spectacular mountain panorama, we offer a good dose of taste: modern architecture is combined with rustic hut charm, the bubbly for the sundowner is specially created and the menu delivers what an alpine hut promises. Anyone expecting a classic ski lodge on the mountain will be surprised here - but that's exactly how we like it.
