THE ORGANIC MOUNTAIN RESTAURANT AT THE LUMBERJACK SHUTTLE

Welcome to the LUMBERJACK on the Shuttleberg Flachauwinkl-Kleinarl, the first organic ski and mountain hut in the Alps and a new retreat for flexitarians, vegetarians and vegans, organized in the form of a food hall. Only organic products from the immediate vicinity and according to a clear concept of origin are eaten and drunk here in the heart of Ski amadé.

Direkt in WAGRAINi's Winterwelt bei der Roten 8er Gondel befindet sich die Edelweiß Alm. Eine gemütlich urige Almhütte mit besonderen Schmankerln.

The church with its characteristic, crooked steeple and the Gothic architecture is among the oldest historic buildings in the valley. The tower, with rounded arch and acoustic windows in the upper story, had to be reinforced with a retaining wall in 1616, because it was already beginning to lean severely towards the northwest. We unfortunately do not know who the architect was.
The high altar inside the church has been remodeled several times. The jewel of the parish church is the late Gothic Madonna, created in 1460. It shows the Virgin Mary with child on a crescent moon. In 2001 parts of the church were renovated.

Was die österreichischen Profi-Skispringer in höchster Vollendung zeigen, können nun auch Hobbysportler im Ansatz erlernen. Den Teilnehmern werden nach und nach wichtige Grundbegriffe in Bezug auf materiallehre, Imitationstraining und Sprungtechnik beigebracht. Das Skisprungmaterial wird auf jeden Einzelnen angepasst und von der Skisprungschule zur Verfügung gestellt. Bei den wöchentlichen Schnupperkursen gehen die Teilnehmer mit den eigenen Alpin-Skiern über den Schanzentisch.

A stop at the ski hut and "Alm wine house" Weitmoser Schlossalm is one of the special highlights in the ski area gastein. Selected music, carefully chosen wines and the excellent sorted wine cellar with more than 50 different austrian wines and culinary on very high niveau will be granted.

"Griaß Di" ... heißt es für Jung und Alt in unserer Gastein Alm in Bad Hofgastein, dem  Treffpunkt für Einheimische und Gäste. Ein lässiges Lokal mit dem Motto "modern, frisch, einladend, gemütlich, ungezwungen,...". Frische Produkte aus der Region, einfach gut zubereitet – vom knusprigen Backhenderl, tollen Pfannengerichten, fangfrischen Forellen, knackigen Salaten bis hin zu den heißgeliebten Pizzen. Mit dem einzigartigen Flair der Gastein Alm, in der Rauchkuchl für die Raucher, in der neuen Herzerlstube für kleinere Gruppen ist das Leben einfach schön. At the entrance of the Gastein valley 60 m over the access road on the Klammstein is Klammstein castle, probably the area’s oldest, historical building. The earliest settlement of the valley began here. Many famous lineages expanded this castle for the protection of the valley and its residents. Until the 16th century, the headquarters of mining and jurisdiction were found here.
In the following centuries, the no longer used castle became dilapidated. In 1972, the main tower of Klammstein castle was renovated and today houses a museum, which you can visit.
