Ski amadé from A to Z

With the right technique makes especially the sophisticated skiing more fun! As a certified ski instructor and longtime trainer these conditions are given on my part. The trainings are carried out in private groups. Optimal training ground and training times increase the success. Permanent video and motion analysis bring a noticeable increase in performance and driving pleasure. The systematic Fumble on the own limit is every time again a surprise!

...but none is as special as the Tom alpine cabin. This may be due to the fact that in the whole of Maria Alm, no, in the whole of Salzburger Land, there is no other alpine hut with a pug (Choupette is her precious name) as a mascot. But probably also because of how we run our hut. 

In addition to a spectacular mountain panorama, we offer a good dose of taste: modern architecture is combined with rustic hut charm, the bubbly for the sundowner is specially created and the menu delivers what an alpine hut promises. Anyone expecting a classic ski lodge on the mountain will be surprised here - but that's exactly how we like it.
 

Ski & Wine Enjoyment Week from 14th to 21st March, 2026

During the skiing and wine tasting week from March 14 to 21, 2026, we offer our guests at the Gastein Alm some special highlights. 

An der Talstation 8er-Gondelbahn Hauser Kaibling steht eine ausreichende Anzahl von Parkpkätzen zur Verfügung - direkte Abfahrt von der Ennstal-Bundesstraße (B 320).

Schneller und bequemer geht es nicht: Raus aus dem Auto, rein in die Skischuhe und rauf auf den Gipfel in nur wenigen Minuten. Beide Talabfahrten enden direkt bei den Parkplätzen!

Einkaufsfahrten, Flughafentransfer, Tag- und Nachtfahrten, Ausflugsfahrten und Arztfahrten

Am Fuße des Planai Zielhangs lädt ab dieser Wintersaison die neue Ski Lounge „Finale“ zum gemütlichen Einkehrschwung ein.

During the day the Almbar is a popular ski chalet which is visited by skiers of the Faschinglifts. In the evening the Almbar converts into a fine restaurant with excellent food.

Every Thursday there is live music in the evening. The menu is extensive and sure to be something for every taste. On the wine list you will find the best Austrian wines.
