Indulgence & Culinary delights in Almwelt Austria

Specialities from the region enhance your holiday

We have made it our business to offer you a selection of dishes that are in the tradition of Austrian cuisine, but are also internationally inspired. We source our meat from Austria, marked with the AMA quality seal, and the eggs from happy hens raised on the ground. Dairy products come from our region, apples from Styria and vegetables from Austrian farmers. Let our restaurant team accompany you, who will also be happy to help you with your choice of drinks and wines.

Here is not only the start of the spectacular World Cup slope, but also a fabulously beautiful vantage point. The highest excursion point in the "Salzburger Sportwelt", which can be reached by lift, is thanks to the World Cup final in 2002, when the downhill course was extended to include the steep starting slope on the Gamskogel. The World Cup Express is usually open in fair weather during the main season (except during race preparation and World Cup races).

The Adventure Park offers you indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, solarium, massage, bistro, Fun Court, bowling lanes, climbing facilities.

"The horses snort and they're lovingly decorated. They give the impression they enjoy trotting this familiar route. Wrapped up snugly in a thick blanket I can enjoy the winter wonderland passing by. Time seems to stand still for a moment."

“A restaurant for every occasion” – the restaurant Aberg Stub’n could hardly be described more appropriately. The à la carte restaurant in Maria Alm at the foot of the Hochkönig is the ideal place for a cozy dinner for two, with the whole family or for very special occasions. The Aberg Stub’n is only open during the winter season and makes gourmets' hearts beat faster. The people of Salzburg as well as those of holiday guests from all over the world.

It's easy to explain why: Regionality and passion are the top priorities for the kitchen team at Aberg Stub’n. Only the best ingredients find their way into the Pflandl. The result? Typical Austrian and international dishes that are real culinary delights.

Arrive, relax, enjoy. This is particularly easy in the Aberg Stub’n restaurant. As soon as you enter the rustic dining room with its warming tiled stove, the cozy interior makes you want more. At the latest when you look at the menu – filled with delicacies from all over the world – it is clear: an evening in Maria Alm could hardly end better.

The subject of many famous painters and poets. The Gasteiner Ache drops a total of 341 m in 3 levels. The atomization of negatively ionized air has a positive and pleasant effect on general well-being. Sources of the Gasteiner Ache are the Anlaufbach and the Naßfelder Ache in the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park. The stone waterfall bridge was built in 1840 and improved in 1927.
The waterfall path leads along the waterfall to Badbruck. The path is cleared in winter!
