Take the Zipfelbob with you or rent it on site – ascent with a valid ski pass and the fun begins.

Die Urlaubsregion Gastein kann man auf über 45km gespurten und bestens präparierten Loipenkilometern entdecken. Der Großteil ist sowohl im klassischen als auch im Skating- Stil zu bewältigen. Wer tagsüber nicht genug bekommt oder mit einer der anderen vielfältigen Möglichkeiten im Gasteinertal beschäftigt ist, der kann sich auf unseren Flutlichtloipen (Bad Hofgastein und Böckstein teilweise) bis 22 Uhr austoben.

Not only skiing and wine await you during the Ski & Wine Enjoyment Weeks, but also the highest farmers' market in the Alps. Savour the fine wines of Austrian winegrowers and the delicious cuisine of the local gastronomy. A special programme highlight takes place on Wednesday with the Weinroas – here you can taste fine wines from selected top winegrowers in the various hotels. A wonderful evening with musical entertainment, delicious delicacies and good wine.

The Fichtel country on Hochbifang in Altenmarkt
On the Altenmarkt side of the Radstadt / Altenmarkt there on Hochbifang a unique forest with very special trees. In this forest grow namely spruces with extraordinary abilities! Every year in winter the spruce throw their Fichtenzapfen on the forest floor, and from some of these pins there are formed small creatures that exist only in this forest in Altenmarkt: the Fichtel!

Cozy atmosphere and a great panorama you can enjoy in the Gipflstadl. - Probably the most beautiful panorama in Salzburg Land - Restaurant with umbrella bar at the highest point of the ski area 2033m height - Also for non-skiers a worthwhile excursion destination

Here in one of the best flying areas in the Northern Alps, a lot is possible with a paragliding tandem flight! Discover new perspectives on the Salzburg mountains and forget everyday life while flying high. Buckle up, take off, adventure!

The trail is 7 km long and has a short steeper rise (red/black). Fantastic location of the trail with skating and classic track.

Snowshoe hike to the Karseggalm in Grossarl.

From the Breitenebenalm car park, snowshoe uphill along the goods road or along the shortcuts through the forest to the Breitenebenalm (not open in winter). Shortly before the Breitenebenalm, you pass a game reserve. The trail continues partly through the forest and partly over snow fields to the Karseggalm (not open in winter). At the Karseggalm you can enjoy the marvellous winter landscape. Return along the same route.
