Curling is more than a tradition in the Alpine region, it's almost a custom.

Target shooting with the ice stocks is a fun diversion in winter, especially for groups. The Dorfgastein ice shooting club offers guests the opportunity to gain an insight into this winter sport.

Asphalt curling is also possible in summer.

With an environmentally friendly and ecological, completely Co² neutral ice surface of 800 m², the Seminar- und Landhotel Häuserl im Wald offers a year-round ice sports facility for curling and ice skating!

The ice-arena at Bad Hofgastein offers three skating rinks, the equipement could be borrowed at the ice-arena.

In the land of Kaiserschmarrn and Wiener Schnitzel, culinary art plays a special role. In the Wachtelhof, guests are served Austrian fusion cuisine that allows them to rediscover childhood memories. Honest and unadulterated dishes are served here using high-quality, fresh ingredients – primarily from the region.

In summer and winter the chef seduces his guests with a multi-course menu. Breakfast and dinner can be taken in the hotel's delicacy restaurant or in the Zirbelstube, a rustic, very private séparée with space for 20-25 guests. Absolut School is the freeski and freestyle snowboard school of Absolut Park. Of course it also offers classic ski tuition.
