Ski tots will love the newly created adventure run at the top station of the popolo II chairlift and the children's adventure land. Teens will be thrilled by the terrain park with great rails, Daring skiers can try to beat an Olympian's time on the self timing speed run named after the top skier Andrea Fischbacher. Whenever you need a break from skiing and boarding on the wide, perfectly groomed slopes, you will enjoy the cozy mountain cabins serving delicious food.

In the middle of a breathtaking mountain world at 1,870 m – at the mountain station of the Tauern cable car – you can indulge yourself in the TOMiziel with regional specialties and a unique sun terrace including a view of the Dachstein.

The TOMiziel belongs to the AlmSkihütten and is one of a total of 15 skihuts on the Hauser Kaibling. One look says more than 1,000 words! Just looking at the umbrella bar it quickly becomes clear that you just have to stop here. Wood and glass dominate the architectural design, which fits perfectly into the ambience on the mountain and combines alpine lifestyle with a touch of modernity. The all-round glazing of the TOMiziel enables a 360-degree view of the breathtaking mountains.

The culinary offer spans a wide range, from hearty mountain breakfasts to piste burgers or Hüttengröstl to classics such as Kaiserschmarren or yeast dumplings.

Living in the Berggasthof Scharfetter
Experience the charm of the mountain rooms in summer as well as winter and relax at 1,800 m above sea level in the Berggasthof Scharfetter. The location is ideal for everyone who loves the feeling of being alone and being the first to draw tracks on the freshly groomed slope - you can set off before breakfast and enjoy it only after the first descent.

The Jagahütte is located directly on the exit of the slope No. 5 Hochbrand at the confluence of the slope Himmelreich No. 10 at 1600 m. The cozy dining room with a great ambience invites you to linger. The sunny terrace is a perfect place for ski tourers an skiers as well. The Jagahütte also offers overnight acccommodation for up to 12 people.

Ascent with the new Kieserlbahn to the mountain station at 1,954 metres. Once at the top, the first refreshment stop is the new WOLKE 7 summit restaurant with 360° panoramic terrace. The panoramic snowshoe trail leads to the Arltörl 1,797 m and on via the Heumoosalm (not serviced) to the middle station of the Fulseck summit lift. Take the cable car back up to the mountain station. Once at the top, the Hauserbauer Gipfelstadl invites you to take a cosy break. Take the winter hiking trail back to the Kieserlbahn mountain station.

Hauser Kaibling

The perfect start into pure skiing pleasure: with its parking guarantee, the Hauser Kaibling is the ideal access point to the Schladming interlinked 4 mountains with 123 slope kilometers.

For the second time already, the modern ski resort has received the award “Best European Ski Area 2013”, scoring with snow reliability, perfectly groomed ski runs, and 15 rustic ski huts  with friendly service. From the highest point of the interlinked 4 mountains, at an altitude of 2015 metres, you enjoy breathtaking panoramic views! The “Genussinsel – Pleasure Island” with free of charge W-LAN invites you to relax before, in-between, and after the most beautiful ski runs.

Für Genießer ist allerdings Zweiteres, das Bauernladenstüberl ein heißer Tipp: Denn dort gibt es nachweislich den besten Käse Österreichs. Im Sommer 2018 gewann Familie Aichhorn („Kreebauer“) vom Bauernladenstüberl mit der Genusskrone die höchste und nur alle 2 Jahre vergebene Auszeichnung aller Direktvermarkter des Landes für den besten Schnittkäse Österreichs 2018 und 2019. Diesen Gaumenschmaus sollte man sich keinesfalls entgehen lassen.
