The 400 year old house is the „Alter Neuwirt” the particular context in which traditional bar culture, quality and commitment merge into a pleasant atmosphere. A good glass and a good conversation here are equally at home as fun and a great atmosphere among friends.

The Skialm Kreuzkogel is located directly between the two mountain stations of the Kreuzkogelbahnen at the highest point of the Grossarltal/Dorfgastein ski area. When the weather is nice you can enjoy the unique mountain panorama on the sun terrace. The rustic and cozy hut offers space for approx. 50-60 people. A special highlight is the après-ski bar right next to the hut. 

The 140 m long suspension bridge on the Stubnerkogel is accessible all year round and is located not far from the Stubnerkogelbahn mountain station in Bad Gastein. The bridge takes summit strikers 2.300 m above sea level from the terrace of the mountain restaurant to the transmitter station. It guarantees not only thrills, but also magnificent views of snow-covered mountains. Die Hoo-Ruck Alm wurde komplett neu gestaltet und echt urig eingerichtet. Die Küche ist bodenständig und serviert wird neben heimischer Hausmannskost auch Fingerfood und Snacks für Zwischendurch. Und wie sich’s für eine Alm gehört gibt es jede Woche und auf Bestellung stimmungsvolle Hüttenabende mit Stelzenessen.

Daniel Mairamhof, the innkeeper, has wholeheartedly specialised on local produce and selected wines. Hence, it is for a good reason that the hut 'Krummholzhütte' has become Austria's  '1. Genusshütte' and it has been presented the award "Europe's most popular ski hut 2013 & 2011".

Many celebrity guests come together here, as, for instance, for the event "Schneegenuss mit Haubenkoch Johann Lafer!" (delicacies with top chef Johann Laferl) or for the shooting of Hansi Hinterseer's "Wintertraum in Schladming"!

Sparkling snow crystals as far as the eye can reach. Enjoy powder skiing at its best in the Dachstein glacier ski area, that is, unsurprisingly, also called 'Austria's ski touring Eldorado'. There are countless ski mountaineering tours, steep downhills, ski routes and freerides from and to the Dachstein plateau.

The most spectacular freeride run is the 'Edelgrieß', quite a challenge for even experienced mountaineers. 

You can reach the Singnix tree house in the Gallic ski village on Galsterberg via a small suspension bridge. Singnix is a villager who thinks he is a musical genius – but the rest of the village sees it differently and ties him to a tree at the slightest attempt at a vocal performance. With the Singnix tree house he got his own tree house from which he can look down.

In a few minutes only, the Hauser Kaibling ski lifts take you to the highest point of Schladming's four interlinked mountains at 2,015 metres. Once at the top, you can enjoy gorgeous panoramic views across the Ennstal valley and the Dachstein mountains. Take some fun pictures with the pink sheep that awaits you on top!
