The hut is located directly at the middle station. Good food and drink, home cooking, rustic interior panorama and beautiful terrace.

The kid's cross country ski park offers this variety. There is a large snow hill for ascents and downhills, even through gates and over jumps and other obstacles. Ball games, relays or running games can be played on this ski-playground.

With us you will find a top selection of winter sports equipment, ski and board accessories as well as ski/board service. Our shop Snoworld KG is located in the gondola station on the ground floor - next to the information.

From the terrace, the view of the Steinerne Meer with the Hochkönig is a feast for the eyes. At only 950 m above sea level, we offer hikers and cyclists a snack, warm home cooking and home-made pastries in summer. In the winter, we offer hearty and regional mountain food for lunch and dinner. Parking available, directly at the hut.

Für Genießer ist allerdings Zweiteres, das Bauernladenstüberl ein heißer Tipp: Denn dort gibt es nachweislich den besten Käse Österreichs. Im Sommer 2018 gewann Familie Aichhorn („Kreebauer“) vom Bauernladenstüberl mit der Genusskrone die höchste und nur alle 2 Jahre vergebene Auszeichnung aller Direktvermarkter des Landes für den besten Schnittkäse Österreichs 2018 und 2019. Diesen Gaumenschmaus sollte man sich keinesfalls entgehen lassen.

Langlaufen in Kleinarl. Vom Dorf, 5 km durch unberührte glitzernde Winterlandschaft\nauf der Loipe bis zum Jägersee im Kleinarler Talschluss. Zurück geht es über die Ostloipe auf der anderen Seite der Kleinarler Ache durch verschneite Wiesen. Es gibt auch ca. 6km lange Loipen in Richtung Wagrain.

In St. Johann in Salzburg there are two well-groomed trails at your disposal.

• Plankenau Loipe: 6.2 kms (intermediate)
• Alpendorf Loipe: 4 kms (intermediate)

You can find a third cross country trail on the mountain, directly situated next to the top station of the Alpendorf gondola (2,2 km - intermediate)
