If this bar didn’t already exist, you would have to invent it. This is where things really get going, and keep going until the early morning hours. An excursion to the summit of the Stubnerkogel is definitely worthwhile: enthroned over the 140 m long suspension bridge which swings gently in the wind is the new, attractive viewing platform with the distinctive name “Glocknerblick”. The diameter of the round viewing plateau is 7 m. It is made mainly out of steel and wood. The platform is secured on the sides by wire mesh through which you can still enjoy the view. Glass in the floor at the front, which juts out over the mountainside, allows an unhindered view of the depths below.
