On three downhills in the skiarea Zauchensee-Flachauwinkl you can become a ski-superstar: Full speed ahed on the skimovie parallel-slalom and on the skimovie funslope mixed race on Gamskogel and shred down the slope at skimobie giant slalom at Kogelalm! Easily enter, difficult to get out - the Steinbock Schirm is at the valley station of the 6-seater chairlift Hochmais in Hinterthal and the perfect location for a short break during or after a skiing day.

In winter, when the cold mountain air of the Schladminger Tauern whips across your face outside, the smell of homemade Kaiserschmarren wafting over from the Schafalm lures you inside the cozy hut. The friendly staff there do their part to guarantee a perfect break before your next run down the Planai. In the winter months, the Schafalm is also home to a number of woolly four-legged creatures, "Valais blacknose sheep" who spend the winter in the adjacent barn (which you are also invited to peek inside), before returning to the lush green alpine meadows of the Planai in summer. An absolute highlight at the Schafalm, especially for younger guests.

At the Stubnerkogel in Bad Gastein there is the viewing platform "Talblick" with a magnificent view northwards over Bad Hofgastein. This further point of attraction and place to stay for our guests is located below the transmitter and is also a popular highlight in winter. Whether pedestrian or skier, the Talblick is worth a visit in any case. 

The ice stock sports facility of the Altenmarkt ice rifle club is open daily from 4.00 p.m. to 9.00 p.m.

Every Wednesday between 6.00 p.m. and 9.00 p.m. the ice rifle club organizes a free guest shooting. Please register with Rupert Nocker by Tuesday 5.00 p.m.
