The Hotel BLÜ in Gastein
The BLÜ is the new Alpine Casual Hotel in the Gastein Valley. In a prominent location - right on Kaiser-Franz-Platz in the heart of Bad Hofgastein. It is entirely dedicated to free development, enjoyment and everything that has nothing to do with everyday life. The BLÜ is the most relaxed anchor point for all the adventures that the Gastein Valley has to offer.

Living

The “Tree House” is a completely new hotel wing, perfect for free spirits and interior lovers. The tree house offers space for 30 design double rooms in the categories “BLÜ Cool”, “BLÜ Moon” and “BLÜ Wow”.

In the main building there are also well-kept single and double rooms in the “BLÜ Small” and “BLÜ Classic” categories - most of the rooms are equipped with a balcony.

Enjoy

The place to be: in the BLÜ Bar, right on Kaiser-Franz-Platz. For hotel guests and locals alike. A quick caffè al banco as you walk by, a glass of Prosecco with friends, a good beer from a Salzburg brewery after a mountain tour or perfectly mixed drinks for a jazz concert or the DJ line - there is space for everything.

There is also fine dining in the BLÜ Restaurant. The BLÜ makers celebrate Austrian cuisine, so fresh beef soup is always simmering on the stove, and the schnitzel is a real Viennese. At the same time, the “BLÜ Kitchen” in the Gastein mountains combines the local with what else tastes best in the world: dishes from Asian cuisine enrich the culinary BLÜ with their wonderful lightness.

Anyone who enjoyes half board at the Hotel BLÜ can eat a 3-course menu here at any time between 12 and 9 p.m. – true to the motto “I’m so free”. Every day from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. we serve the Blü(h) up breakfast buffet. Start the day healthy, rich and well fortified!

Selected coffee and tea specialties, warm-from-the-oven, home-made, baked, pickled, boiled and fried foods accompany egg dishes and omelettes made from local lucky Schmaranz organic eggs, yoghurt from local Milchfreuden Veitbauern and ham and sausage products from the legendary local butcher Hutegger. Organic & veggie delicacies with many popular breakfast classics from all over the world from the buffet.

Time to relax

Anyone who wants to take it easy is in good hands at HimmelBLÜ. The best place to do this is in the part of the BLÜ that is closest to heaven, in HimmelBlü: After the sauna, sunbathe in the roof garden with a wonderful view of the Gastein mountains, look out into nature from the Quiet Room or simply relax with yoga.

Well-read people will love the library with its box seats on the terrace: to retreat, read, write or simply do nothing.

Yogis thrive at Hotel BLÜ. Not a day goes by without a yoga lesson.

Yoga belongs to the Hotel BLÜ in Bad Hofgastein like the BLÜ belongs to yoga. Resident Yogini Fia Sonora fills the FREIRAUM Yogaspace high above the roofs with yoga sessions every day, always with the surrounding mountains in view. When the sun shines, you can go out for a yoga class in the brilliant HimmelBLÜ Garden on the roof or on the alpine meadow and other power places in the region.

Yoga spring & yoga autumn in Gastein, the valley's yoga hotspot takes place in Blü. Take part in the hotel's own yoga sessions several times a day and let yourself fall under the yoga spell.
