Cheeeeseeee – the best photo points in Ski amadé

You are having a perfect day in the mountains and would like a photo as a keepsake? Nearly everyone has a smart phone nowadays, but a selfie stick is not always at hand to ensure that you get everyone on the photo. Well, Ski amadé have come up with a solution to this problem and have put up extra so-called photo points.

And to do this, you do not even have to take your gloves off, you simply just have to scan your ski pass on the photo point board, run back to your family or friends and shout cheese very loudly. Then you can download your keepsake, using your ski pass number under www.skiline.cc. I am not always very photogenic, but highly motivated, I tested out the best photo points for you:

Spookiness in Alpendorf

With the mascots "Spuki & Gspensti", you can get a snapshot at the gondola station of the Buchau run. Even if your friends do not want to be on the photo, you will certainly be in the best company here and you will certainly not be alone on the photo. The stunning mountain panorama in the background is of course another plus point.

Out of Space in Flachau

Things start to get spacey when you take Starjet 3 to the top of the peak. There a spaceship awaits you, which even when foggy is a great motif. A small tip from me: either stand a bit closer to the camera or be very quick, as the run back to the spaceship is not so short.

Breathtaking in Dorfgastein

So, for those who are great fans of beautiful panoramas, then I can highly recommend Dorfgastein. Here, there is nothing to distract you from the wonderful landscape. Pose and be photographed at the top station in Fulseck and this is best done late afternoon, as then you get a really great colour on the photo too.

Majestic in Mühlbach

Whoever has always wanted to feel like royalty, should take the Kings Cab cable car to the top and should be photographed there. Remain seated after the flash has gone off, as only when the second red light flashes are you actually on the photo. Otherwise, you will need three goes like I did.

Adventurous in Bad Gastein

A real highlight is the photo point at Stubnerkogel in Bad Gastein. It is not for nothing that Europe’s highest suspension bridge is one of the most popular motifs in Ski amadé. However, try not to get too dizzy, as crossing the bridge is a real thrill. When the weather is misty, it becomes very mystical and when it is sunny, you get really great views. To be honest, it is worth a visit whatever the weather.

So enough posing, at least for now. In the future I will certainly take some more snapshots at the photo points, as they always remind me of what a great day I have had on the mountain J.

Which one is your favourite photo point?
