The traditional Dachstein Almabtrieb begins on Friday, September 23, 2022 with the "Schottenrühren" and musical entertainment at the Walcheralm.
On Saturday, September 24, 2022, the festival begins at 9:00 a.m. with an alpine breakfast on the Walcheralm. Thereby the animals will be decorated for the Almabtrieb from 11:00, starting from the Walcheralm along the Dachsteinstraße to the Walcherhof. Music and entertainment are provided at the "Hoamfoarfest" at the Walcherhof from 10:00 - 17:00.
