The Harvest Festival is a very special time in our region. Numerous events and traditional celebrations fill the calendar during what is known as the ‘fifth season’. There is a festive atmosphere everywhere, with delicious local specialities – naturally homemade by the local farmers themselves. An absolute highlight of the autumn season is the cattle drive.

- from approx. 6.00 pm Schottenrühren and musical entertainment at the Walcheralm
Saturday, 26 September 2026
- 09:00 am Alpine breakfast at the Walcheralm with the animals being decorated
- 11:00 am Start of the cattle drive along the Dachstein Road to the Walcherhof
- approx. 12:00 pm Arrival at the Walcherhof followed by the ‘Hoamfoarfest’ and musical entertainment
