The Tour of Austria will celebrate its 75th edition in 2026, and St. Johann in Salzburg will be hosting a stage for the 16th time.
On Friday, 10 July 2026, the third stage will run from Lienz through the Felbertauern Tunnel towards St. Johann in Salzburg.
The route runs from St. Johann via Bahnhofsstraße and Industriestraße towards Bischofshofen, continuing over the Buchberg and Kreuzberg to Hüttau.
The cyclists will then return to St. Johann in Salzburg via Wagrain. From there, the route leads once again via Industriestraße and Bahnhofsstraße to Alpendorf. The finish line is located near the Hotel Haven Mountain Retreat.
