At 1900 m above sea level are waiting not only the large sun terrace and offers panoramic views, but also Pongauer specialties and international cuisine.

The home of great cross-country skiers Walter Mayer and Alois Stadlober provides 200 kms of perfectly groomed loipes within the Alliance - for skaters and classic.

On three downhills in the skiarea Zauchensee-Flachauwinkl you can become a ski-superstar: Full speed ahed on the skimovie parallel-slalom and on the skimovie funslope mixed race on Gamskogel and shred down the slope at skimobie giant slalom at Kogelalm! Anyone who strives for higher goals and has the necessary commitment will find all the opportunities for challenges on the mountain at the Klaus Ski School, especially since the Hochkönig region and our experienced ski instructors open all doors for this. Adrenaline-filled variant trips with steep slopes, deep snow or bumps are still the ultimate for freeriders and individualists.

In the land of Kaiserschmarrn and Wiener Schnitzel, culinary art plays a special role. In the Wachtelhof, guests are served Austrian fusion cuisine that allows them to rediscover childhood memories. Honest and unadulterated dishes are served here using high-quality, fresh ingredients – primarily from the region.

In summer and winter the chef seduces his guests with a multi-course menu. Breakfast and dinner can be taken in the hotel's delicacy restaurant or in the Zirbelstube, a rustic, very private séparée with space for 20-25 guests. The parlor exudes history and cosiness and is suitable for festive occasions.
